Vehicle report
Read the vehicle and give the customer a professional report, always with the same template.

Where: Diagnostics › Read the vehicle › “Make report” (and, in a read, “Vehicle report”)
- Plug the device into the diagnostic socket and switch the ignition on with the engine off.
- Press “Make report”, choose the device and “Start the read”. You will see the progress section by section: identification, control units, faults, freeze frame, monitors, tests, live values and battery.
- When it finishes, the preview opens. Print it, download the PDF or press “Sign and share link” to give the customer a link with a QR code they can check.
- The template always has the same sections: identification (VIN, make, year, mileage), summary with the overall status, inspection readiness monitors, current, pending and permanent fault codes with their description, freeze frame data, key live values, on-board tests (mode 06), control units with their calibration and CVN, battery, high-voltage battery of electric and hybrid vehicles, recommendations, workshop and technician, and the equipment used.
- Whatever the vehicle does not report appears as “Not available” with the reason; the report never breaks.
- The overall status is “No problems found”, “Check” or “Needs repair”, according to the criteria of the settings.
- The workshop's details come from Administration › Company. The report settings are in Administration › Company (your workshop) and in Administration › Platform › Features and appearance (platform values, only the Diaglana team): sections and order, units, language, formats, overall status criteria, workshop details and legal text at the foot.
- To give it to the customer, type their email under “Send to the customer” and press “Send by email”, or press “Create a link for the customer” and share it however you like. The customer sees the overall status and downloads the PDF; the link expires (30 days unless you change the settings) and you can withdraw it under “Links given”.
- Your logo appears at the top of the report, on the web and in the PDF: upload it in Administration › Company › “Logo for the reports” (PNG, JPEG or SVG). It also appears on your payment receipts and, in the Hub, on quotes.
Important: The report reflects the electronic read at that moment: it is not a mechanical inspection and does not replace the roadworthiness test.
