Diaglana PassThru installs the PassThru libraries (J2534 04.04 and 05.00, D-PDU and RP1210) on your computer so you can use your ECO-LITE TOOL or your ECOPRO Gen4 with diagnostic programs and, on Windows, the agent for remote sessions. The card appears if your organization has an ECO-LITE TOOL or an ECOPRO Gen4 and you can read vehicles, or if you connect remote sessions.
1. Download
- Open the platform on the computer where you will install it. The button for your system comes first, marked "Recommended for this computer" and with its architecture (64-bit Intel or AMD, or 64-bit ARM).
- Press the button. The platform prepares a single-use link that expires after 10 minutes and the browser saves the file right away. If it does not start, press it again.
- For another architecture or the Linux .run installer, open "Other versions": you will see the version, size, SHA-256 and requirements of each package.
| System | Package and requirements |
|---|---|
| Windows | .exe installer for Windows 10 or later (Windows on ARM too), with the interfaces for 32-bit and 64-bit programs. |
| Mac | .dmg disk image for macOS 12 or later, with Apple silicon or Intel. |
| Linux | .deb package (Ubuntu, Debian and derivatives) or .run installer (other distributions), with glibc 2.34 or later, for 64-bit Intel or AMD or 64-bit ARM. |
2. Install
| System | How to install |
|---|---|
| Windows | Open the downloaded file and follow the screens. Windows asks for administrator permission to register the J2534, D-PDU and RP1210 interfaces. |
| Mac | Open the disk image, open the installer inside and follow the screens. It asks for the Mac's administrator password. |
| Linux | Open a terminal in your downloads folder. For the .deb, type "sudo apt install ./" and the file name; for the .run, "sh ./" and the file name. The platform shows you the exact command when you download. |
3. The "unknown publisher" warning
- While the installers do not carry a code signature, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Check the SHA-256 first (step 4) and, if it matches, press "More info" and "Run anyway".
- On a Mac you may see that the developer cannot be verified. Check the SHA-256 and, if it matches, go to System Settings › Privacy & Security and press "Open Anyway".
- The warning does not mean the file is damaged: only that the system does not know the publisher yet. If the SHA-256 does not match, do not open it: delete it and download it again.
4. Check the SHA-256
- Open "Other versions" and press "Copy" next to the SHA-256 of the package you downloaded.
- Compute the file's value: on Windows, open PowerShell in your downloads folder and type "Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256" and the file name; on a Mac, "shasum -a 256" and the name; on Linux, "sha256sum" and the name.
- Compare both values: they must be identical, character by character.
Tip: Each link works only once and you can ask for up to 20 a day. If you reach the limit, the card tells you and you can download again tomorrow.
Important: This is a technical feature in testing: it does not replace an approved diagnostic tool. Pairing the computer with the unit always requires pressing the unit's button.
