When a workshop wants to work on your vehicle from its office, you get a notice. Before answering you see which channels it will open, with which tool, whether it may write to or reprogram ECUs, how long it lasts, how long it waits if the connection drops, that every frame is recorded for 5 years and how many people will watch.
- Open the notice or go to "Remote access to your vehicle".
- Read what the workshop asks. If it may write or reprogram, it is shown in red.
- Click "Accept" and confirm with your second factor, or click "Reject".
- While it lasts, you see the session status: whether the workshop is connected and in which phase.
- Nothing opens without your acceptance.
- You can withdraw your consent whenever you want: click "Withdraw my consent" and the tunnel is cut within seconds.
- Observers can only watch: they send nothing to the vehicle.
- If the plan writes or reprograms with an ECO-LITE, the unit blinks blue: press its button in the car to confirm.
- We keep your answer with the date, your identity and the version of the texts you read.
Tip: If the workshop changes the plan, you get a new request: the previous one no longer counts.
Important: If you do not recognize the workshop or did not expect the request, reject it and tell support.
