Tunnel plan: connect a tool to the vehicle remotely
Prepare the tunnel plan of a remote session, send it to the customer, open it, close it and invite observers.

The tunnel joins the tool at your office (multi-brand diagnostics, manufacturer tool or Kess3-type OBD reprogramming) with the vehicle unit. The options you see come from what both units of the session support and the functions Diaglana has enabled on them: if a channel is missing, one of the two does not carry it.
- Choose the tool and the access: read only, routines, writing or reprogramming. Writing or programming asks for your security key.
- Choose the vehicle channel (protocol, pins and bit rate). With an ECOPRO Gen4 unit you can also open the serial port; since it can write to the equipment, the minimum access becomes writing.
- Choose the protocol license, the duration (up to 60 minutes), the resume window (10 to 30 minutes) and up to three observers.
- Click "Sign and send to the customer". The customer gets a notice; once accepted, click "Open tunnel". When you finish, "Close tunnel".
- "Waiting for the customer": the customer has not answered yet.
- "The vehicle unit's check is missing": it must be connected, on and with enough battery.
- "Your role does not allow this action": opening the tunnel also needs the diagnostic operator accreditation.
- "Consent withdrawn": the customer cut the tunnel; a new session is needed.
- "See the recording" opens the session's recorded frames read-only.
Tip: Observers only read the recording: they cannot send anything to the vehicle. You can remove one at any time and they stop seeing the session at once.
Important: Every frame is recorded and kept for 5 years. The customer sees this before accepting.
