Unit PassThru mode from the app
Arm or disarm an ECO-LITE or an ECO-LITE TOOL as the PassThru interface of the workshop PC without touching the button.

Where: Tools › unit row › PassThru mode (in the app: unit details)
What you'll see: “Use as a PassThru interface in this workshop”, the notices, “Arm PassThru”, “Disarm” and the last order with its state.
1. What you need
- An ECO-LITE or an ECO-LITE TOOL with software that supports PassThru mode from the app. If it doesn't, you'll see a notice and can keep using the button.
- The permission to program control units, with the second factor: with the unit in PassThru, the PC can program.
- The workshop PC on the same network as the unit.
- The ECO-LITE offers basic PassThru, with one channel; the ECO-LITE TOOL offers the full one.
2. Arm and disarm
- Press “Arm PassThru”. It's the same as holding the unit's button for 2 to 5 seconds: the light stays solid blue.
- If it's the first time you use that PC, pair it by pressing the unit's button. No PC is paired from the app.
- Work with the diagnostic program on the PC.
- When you finish, disarm with the unit's button. “Disarm” in the app only reaches the unit when it reconnects to the platform.
| State or notice | What it means |
|---|---|
| Armed | The unit is in PassThru mode and waiting for the PC. |
| Disarmed | The unit works normally. |
| A remote session is open | Close the remote session or the tunnel and try again. |
| The unit is busy | Another diagnosis, a capture or an update is in progress: wait for it to finish. |
| Not allowed on this unit | Diaglana has disabled PassThru mode for this unit: contact support. |
Important: While armed, the unit accepts no remote sessions or platform orders. It disarms itself after 30 minutes without a PC.
Tip: The order drives neither the K line nor the CAN: it only changes the mode. Whatever the PC does next goes through the same checks as with the button.
