Vehicle and unit status
Battery, engine starts, engine state, impacts, temperature and self-test measured by the unit itself, without touching the vehicle.

What you will see: a card with the vehicle battery, the engine, the last engine start, vibration, the unit temperature and its self-test. On ECO-LITE TOOL, also the pin 16 output to your tool. Below, the recent warnings.
| Value | What it means |
|---|---|
| At rest | Voltage with the engine stopped for 5 minutes and steady, with the approximate charge. 12.6 V or more is a full battery; below 12.2 V it should be charged |
| Last engine start | Minimum voltage while the engine was cranking and how long it took. Below 9.6 V (19.2 V on 24 V trucks) it is a weak start: check the battery or the starter motor |
| Engine | Running when the alternator charges (13.2 V or more) or the unit vibrates after a start; stopped after 20 seconds with no charging and no vibration |
| Low battery | Below 11.8 V for 20 seconds with the engine stopped: the vehicle may not start |
| High charging voltage | Above 15 V for 10 seconds: check the alternator regulator |
| Motion | Still or vibrating, and the last strong impact (2.5 g or more) while the unit was awake |
| Internal temperature | That of the unit's chip, a few degrees above the air. Warm from 75 °C, hot from 90 °C |
| Self-test | Which parts of the unit answered at start-up and which one failed, if any |
| Output to the tool | ECO-LITE TOOL only: pin 16 voltage and current, what the USB-C charger offers and the reason for a protection cut-off |
| Unit start | Why it switched on: plugged into the vehicle, button or CAN bus activity |
| Last session | ECO-LITE TOOL only: the last session (remote, PassThru or pin 16 output), how it ended and how long it lasted. "Cut off" means the unit was powered off or unplugged in the middle |
- It is updated when the unit starts, at every engine start, with every warning and every 30 minutes while the unit is awake.
- The unit goes to sleep after 10 minutes with no vehicle activity: the last status stays visible.
- Without a connection, the unit keeps the changes and sends them when it reconnects, as long as it stays powered.
- Low battery, weak start and impact notices: they are off until each person switches them on from the web's bell › Settings. They then reach the web and, where offered, the phone and email.
Tip: For a full battery and alternator report, with the cranking curve, use the battery test.
Important: These are the unit's own measurements and send nothing to the vehicle. They are never used to authorize a clear, a write or a programming job: that still needs the button and your confirmation.
