Setting up ECO-LITE
From the box to the first remote diagnosis: Wi-Fi, activation and hand-over.
1. Connect to Wi-Fi (no app needed)
- Plug the unit into an OBD socket. Straight out of the box it opens its setup network: the light breathes cyan.
- Scan the "Wi-Fi" QR on the label with your phone camera. If you cannot, join the network DiaglanaOBD- followed by the last 4 digits of the identifier, using the setup code.
- The unit's page opens (if not, go to http://192.168.4.1). Choose your network, type the password and press "Save and test". The unit checks it reaches the platform before saving it and tells you what is wrong if it fails.
- Once the test succeeds, within about 90 seconds the light breathes green: it is online.
2. Add it to your account: scan the "Add to account" QR on the label or follow the guide "Adding a unit to your account".
3. Install and hand over: plug it into the customer's vehicle and hand it over from Tools › Customer hand-overs. They will see it in their account and can authorize sessions.
Tip: If the customer keeps the car elsewhere, add their Wi-Fi by holding the button for 6 seconds. The unit stores up to 5 networks.
Change of owner or workshop: hold the button for 20 seconds to forget every saved network. If the label becomes unreadable, the holder sees the code in their account, in the list of units, with the "Wi-Fi code" button.
