Lights and sounds of the ECOPRO Gen4

What each color of the two lights and each beep means; it is also the text of the label.

The ECOPRO Gen4 has two lights. Light 1 tells how the tool is and light 2 what is happening on the vehicle. When two states coincide, light 1 shows the most important one, in the order of the table.

1. Proposed label for the case

  • Fast orange: do not disconnect
  • Steady red: fault
  • Blinking amber: press the button
  • Blue: PC and PassThru
  • Green: connected; blinking, reading
  • Steady amber: warning

The ECOPRO Gen4 does not dim its lights: orange looks like a strong amber and is told apart by the fast blinking. The same colors and their order apply to the ECO-LITE and the ECO-LITE TOOL. The label is a proposal pending approval.

Important: With the orange light blinking, do not unplug the tool or switch off the ignition: an ECU is being written or the tool is updating.
