Fleets and dealers
What does remote diagnostics save a fleet?
Above all it saves unnecessary trips and downtime: when a warning light comes on, your shop reads the vehicle remotely and decides whether it can keep going, whether a service function is enough or whether it has to come in, and with which part. How much it saves depends on your fleet; there is no general figure, so it is worth measuring with a few vehicles before rolling it out.

Where do the savings come from?
From deciding before moving the vehicle. A warning light on the road no longer means stopping or detouring to the shop blind: with the reading in hand you can tell what is urgent from what can wait, and the vehicle reaches the shop, if it has to go, with the part already ordered.
Also from preparing inspections and services without bringing the vehicles in, and from each vehicle's reading history, which helps you see how a fault develops.
What does it cost?
One ECO-LITE per vehicle, €129 · US$129 in presale with no subscription, plus your shop's work, priced by the shop. The fleet's devices, its vehicles and the history are in a single account.
Trucks without a 16-pin J1962 port need an adapter cable, which is not included.
How do you measure it in your fleet?
Start with a small group of vehicles and record, over a few months, how many warnings were resolved remotely, how many shop trips were avoided and how long each vehicle was off the road. Compare it with the vehicles without a device.
Your own data is what counts: remote diagnostics fixes nothing by itself, and with a mechanical failure the vehicle still has to go to the shop.
What doesn't it do?
It is not telematics or a tracker: ECO-LITE has no GPS and no cellular data and connects when a known Wi-Fi network is in range. Nor does it read the vehicle on its own: every session is authorized by someone next to the vehicle with the button.
On 24 V trucks it works with J1939, which is tested on a simulator; validation with trucks is under way.
The devices are in pre-production or presale: figures may be adjusted after validating the first units. Whether a given tool, program or make works depends on that tool, program or make.

Frequently asked questions
Are there savings figures from other fleets?
We do not publish savings figures: they depend on each fleet, and the devices are in pre-production. The honest way is to measure it with a trial on your vehicles.
Does the device drain the battery while the vehicle is parked?
Very little: it sleeps while the vehicle is parked and wakes on bus traffic or the button.
Do I need one ECO-LITE per vehicle?
Yes: the device stays in the vehicle's OBD port. The fleet account brings them all together.
