If you run a workshop
How to set up your workshop on the platform: team, customers, daily work and payments.
Reviewed by Daniel Morales, founder of Reprorace SL, on
A workshop organization brings together your people, your units, your customers and your work. The workshop's administration (owner or administrator) prepares the account; then each person sees only what their role allows.
1. Preparing the workshop
- Fill in your company details in Administration › Company and network › Company: they appear on quotes, reports and invoices.
- Invite your team in Administration › People and security › Users and permissions and give each person their role: site manager, service advisor, technician, programming or inspection.
- Register your units in Tools › Add a unit and, if you take payments online, connect your payment account in Administration › Commerce and payments › Payments.
- Hand over an ECO-LITE to each customer you want to serve remotely (Tools › Customer hand-overs).
2. Daily work
- Remote sessions › Requests: what your customers ask you for, with quote, appointment and conversation.
- Remote sessions › Workshop: work orders and calendar, with the fault codes of each read attached to the order.
- Remote sessions › Diagnostics: automatic diagnosis, full read, live dashboard, service functions and pre-purchase report.
- Remote sessions › Live sessions: the remote session with the customer's car and, if you work with your own tool, the ECO-LITE TOOL or the PC PassThru.
3. For advanced users
- If you are a master network, you manage your associated workshops in Network and apply your brand to them.
- Custom roles, two-person approvals and access reviews are explained in “If you administer an organization”.
