As a technician you see your workshop's work sections: Vehicles, Tools, Remote sessions and Tool data. If something is missing, ask your workshop's administration for the right role.
- Open your order in Remote sessions › Workshop › Work orders and calendar and mark it in progress.
- Read the vehicle in Remote sessions › Diagnostics: “Automatic diagnosis” if you don't know where to start, or “Read vehicle” if you want to choose the vehicle type or the protocol.
- Attach the codes of that read to the order with “Attach the codes of a read”: they stay there with their indicative explanation.
- Check whatever you need in the live dashboard (temperatures, pressures, voltages) and run service functions or guided procedures.
- Close the order and, if needed, issue the signed report for the customer.
For advanced users:
- Manufacturer programs on your PC with J2534, RP1210 or D-PDU: guide “Installing Diaglana PassThru on Windows”.
- Writing, coding and programming: guide “Procedures that write, program or authenticate”.
- Farm machinery: guide “ISOBUS: reading and changing an implement's NAME”. Diagnosis over Ethernet: guide “Diagnosis over Ethernet (DoIP)”.
Tip: Anything that writes to a vehicle asks you to confirm, asks for your second factor and often for someone to press the unit's button next to the car: that is normal.
