Accepting a quote and turning it into an order
Open the link you were sent, accept or reject the quote and place the order at the same price.
Where: The quote's link (it arrives by email or from your sales contact) and then Commerce › Your purchases
1. Review the quote
- Open the link. You do not need to sign in to see it.
- You will see the whole document: who issues it, your details, each line with its quantity, price and discount, shipping, taxes, the total and the "Valid until" date.
- To keep it, press "Print or save as PDF". If the seller invoices with Holded, "Download the quote as a PDF" also appears while the link is valid.
2. Accept or reject
- Type your name in "Your name". You can add a comment if you like.
- Press "Accept quote" if you agree with the amounts, or "Reject" if you do not want it. The seller is notified of your decision and your comment.
- Accepting is not paying: it confirms the quote. The order and the payment come in the next step.
3. Place the order and pay
- Once accepted, press "Place the order and pay". Sign in with your account, or create one if you do not have one yet.
- "Order from a quote" opens in Your purchases, with the quote at the top.
- Fill in the delivery address. The country and postal code are the quote's and cannot be changed, because taxes and shipping depend on them.
- Choose how to pay, tick "I accept the terms of sale" and press "Place the order".
- The order appears in Your purchases › Orders at the quote's price. From there you pay, track the delivery and download the invoice as with any other purchase.
