Workshop and expert appointments and reviews
Book with a workshop or an expert, manage your agenda and review a real service.
Where: Community › Appointments (also Workshops and experts and Reviews)
What you'll see: “My appointments” with your bookings and, if you run a workshop or are an expert, “Workshop agenda” or “My expert agenda” in a weekly calendar, plus their settings. From there you reach the “Workshops and experts” directory and “Reviews”.
1. Book an appointment
- In “Workshops and experts” search by name, province, postal code or specialty. “Distance” sorts by the postal code you type: we never ask for your location.
- Open the profile, choose the service and the type (at the workshop, remote or video call) and a free slot. Times are the workshop's; if you are in another time zone, it says so.
- Press “Book”. If the workshop asks for a deposit, you pay on its own payment page; the booking is held for 30 minutes and released if unpaid.
- The workshop confirms it (or it confirms itself if the workshop chose so). You get a notice and, 24 hours before, a reminder by notice and email.
2. Change or cancel
Each workshop sets how many hours before you can cancel for free. Before that you can change the time or cancel and the deposit is refunded. After that, it is a late cancellation and, if the workshop says so on its profile, it keeps the deposit. If the workshop cancels, the deposit is always refunded. “Export to calendar (iCal)” downloads your appointments for Google Calendar, Outlook or your phone.
3. Workshop or expert agenda
- In the settings tab enter the public name, province, postal code and city you want to show, and tick whether you appear in the directory.
- Enter each day's hours (for example 09:00-13:00, 15:00-19:00), closed days, how many appointments you take at the same time, the minimum notice and the gap between appointments.
- Add the services with their duration and types. A deposit can only be asked for with a payment account ready in Administration › Payments.
- In the calendar confirm or decline (with a reason) bookings, change the time, mark “Attended” or “No-show” and link the work order, the assistance request, the engagement or the remote session.
4. Review
Under “Reviews › To review” your closed services show for 60 days: completed assistance, finished work orders, closed expert engagements and attended appointments. One review per service, with quality, timeliness, manner and price (if it applies) and an optional text. You can edit it for 14 days or withdraw it, and also post it on your wall. If the workshop gave you something in return, declare it: it shows next to the review.
5. Reply and report
The workshop (with the permission to answer requests) or the expert replies once in public and can edit the reply three times. Anyone with an account can report a review; a team member decides with a reason and it can be appealed, which another team member decides.
Tip: How they are verified: only someone who had the service closed on the platform can review, a review without a service is never published and all of them are published, positive and negative. Phone numbers and emails typed in are hidden.
