Handing a unit over to your customer
The customer accepts it in their app and becomes responsible for it; your workshop keeps supporting it.
Where: Tools › Customer hand-overs › New hand-over
- Choose the unit.
- If the customer already has a Diaglana account, type the email they sign in with. If not, choose to create an account for them: you will receive an invitation link to send them.
- Add a note if you like and send the hand-over.
- The customer has 30 days to accept it. Meanwhile it shows as "Pending" and you can cancel it.
Once accepted, the unit is in the customer's account and they can link it to their vehicle. Your workshop can still support it, but needs their permission to read vehicle data.
If the customer sells the car or no longer needs the unit, they return it from their account with "Return to the workshop" and give a reason. Then they bring it to you and you can use it again.
