Enabled features and licenses
Which protocols and services each unit has and when they reach it.
Each unit has the features (diagnostic protocols and services) included in its subscription or licenses. The platform sends them signed to the unit, which only runs what it is authorized for.
- On Home, "Enabled features" shows how many you have and how many are already applied on the tool.
- A newly purchased feature may take a moment to appear on the unit: it is applied when the unit is online.
- Some features depend on the country where the unit works; if they are not available there, they are not enabled.
Tip: If a feature you purchased is missing and the unit is online (green light), open a request in Support saying which unit.
Request a change to the unit (Tools › Management › “Changes”):
- With permission to manage the unit you can assign it a configuration profile or an OBD reading profile. With permission for licenses, turn on or off on the unit a function it already has, only where licenses per unit are turned on.
- Each change asks for a reason and your second factor, and the unit must be up to date. It stays queued and the unit confirms it when it is online: “Applied by the unit”, “Refused by the unit” or “Failed on the unit”.
- While it waits you can cancel it, also with a reason. A new change of the same type replaces the one that was queued.
